    Marine, Endemic, Very similar to Patiriella regularis, but smoother appearance when wet
    North, South and Stewart Islands ACFE.

    Cushion Star, Marine, Endemic, 5 arms, sometimes 4 or 6, colour highly variable, sometimes mottled. Intertidal to sublittoral
    North and South Islands, and Chatham Islands. Has spread to southern Australia and Tasmania ACFME.

    Inflated Cushion Star, Marine, Endemic, 5 arms, hightly coloured and variable, red, orange, pink, yellow, green, and sometimes mottled. Intertidal to shallow subtidal
    Throughout NZ, 0-35 metres ACFE.
