Distribution:
Southern Australia and northern New Zealand. Kermadec Islands, Three Kings Islands, and north-eastern North Island as far south-east as Ranfurly Bank, from 55-805m
Type Data:
  • 90-95 metres, off Botany Bay, New South Wales, Australia, (paratype)
  • 115-140 metres, off Port Kembla, New South Wales, Australia, (holotype, paratype)

Marine, Native - Non-endemic
